Brief Introduction to TL-9000K/Xi Digital Switching System of Tongli

1.      System Characteristics

As an advanced phone switching system, Tongli TL-9000K/Xi has the special function with the IP Economic Route of linking (digital) phone edition, automatically analyzing users¡¯ operation to find out the most economic output relaying without changing customer¡¯s dialing habit, and to save customer¡¯s telephone expenses to the maximum. By switching directly to the exterior line when the user picks up the phone, the system defines it as Free dial. It applies the most to group users since the system has the powerful grouping function. The digital switch consists of three major parts: Digital Relay, Non-Blocking Internal Digital Switch, Special Digital Phone Edition, having the following characteristics:

1.1  The power system of TL-9000 series¡¯ switching machine uses reliable switching mode power supplying with high power, low power consumption, small volume and high reliability.

1.2  After adopting the design of Bus Architecture without Electronic Components structure on the backplane, the whole phone has improved its reliability.

1.3  By adopting Multiple CPU Module Design, the ability of data processing, as well as the reliability is improved.

1.4  TL-9000 series switching system mainly adopts Slice Electronic Components which improves its reliabilities.

1.5  Two kinds of welding procedure are adopted in the production. Firstly, ¡°Backflow Welding¡± of the Slice Electronic Components, and then ¡°Double Bofeng Welding¡± of the Plug-ins guarantee the reliability of the welding.

1.6  The system supports Connecting and Netting Function, as well as Circuitous Routing Function.

2.      Advanced official business function

2.1  Incoming internal and external call numbers display on the Extensions (Compatible with DTMF, FSK Pattern, numbers display on extension after transferring incoming internal and external calls).

2.2  Consisting of 50 pieces of dynamic consignation, the system can reserve 50 internal and external calls at the same time. Added up to the Speaker Function, flow office business function can be obtained and any direction¡¯s information call within the company can be realized.

For example, when the operator doesn¡¯t know where the manager stands while he is needed on the external call, the operator can remain the call on any line from 0 to 49, and then broadcasts it through the intramural broadcasting system. Once the manager hears it, he can pick up the nearest extension and immediately establish conversations in the external line!

The Speaker can be divided into 8 groups in order to work within its relative regions.

2.3  The system has ten grades of on/off duty of external and internal calls, which enable it to set up conversation authority randomly. Specific calls of extension can be defined according to open call and lock call of all grades, avoiding the non-business call absolutely. (One specific number of the external call can be allowed or banned throughout management.)

For example, several extensions of the reception desk can be set up to only allow several local calls for booking tickets, cell phones of relative department managers, several relative national and international phone numbers, and ban all other phone numbers.

2.4  The function of special 15 persons for mutual telephone meeting of internals and externals is placed inside and realize holding the meeting with several persons and over regions. The meeting, convening or retreating from at any time, can be applied through exterior line (local calls, distant calls, and cell phones), interior line and mutual telephones, and the number of interior and exterior lines can up to 15 persons. (It most suits the general headquarters to convene a meeting from offices and branch companies of different regions.)

2.5  The phone of manager¡¯s secretary can ban all kinds of advertising calls and anonymous call. All calls for manager will automatically switch to secretary who selects and keeps them, and be decided whether to answer or not by manager.

2.6  Any extensions of the system have the telecom new functional operation, such as One Button Redial, Free Dial, Exterior move, Second Move, Hotline, Leased Line, Timing Clock, and etc.

When the line is busy as dialing up external calls, the internal extension can be redialed by pressing button ¡°#¡±. The manager¡¯s extension can defined as Free Dial without dialing the number for external, and with pressing button ¡°#¡± of the extension for internal.

2.7  Grades in on-duty and off-duty and on duty extension can be automatically switched rather than done by hand. Extension in off-duty will automatically block external call authority, and extension of Trk duty will automatically switched to the extension of the safe guard.

2.8  It has Accounts and Password Function of 5000 groups, expenses can be calculated to each person, and extension can self-lock in different grades. Every staff has one Account and Password for his extension, he can call any number allowed by his extension at any extension within the system and be recorded in his accounts, and prevent itself from free calling on its expense through illegal means.

2.9  Random number from 1 to 4 digits is flexibly arranged and extension¡¯s number can be coexisted from 1 to 4 digits. As to extension in peculiar and in common use, its numbers can be distributed by one digit or 2, and coexist with extension of 4 digits in the same system.

2.10              Outside Maintenance Module is put inside and maintained through direct telephone net. If the customer is not familiar with separate function, he/she can ring telephone or cell phone of relative staff of my company. Once given relative authority, remote operation can be done as well as conversation continues at the same time.

2.11              The Open CTI Platform has non-Watch extension, and supports Calling Center. Relative DIMF but not bell is defined to be distributed by extension, mainly to supply more fast and accurate digital signal when answering or not all kinds of Voice Platform and Calling Center.

2.12              Group ring and Trk duty ring are supported.

2.13              One Button Receive, Appointed Receive and Move Lock within the group are supported.

2.14              One Button Redial (or # Button Redial) of all extensions are supported.

2.15              Extension Easy Dial and System Easy Dial can be set up.

2.16              Trk wait and Ext wait can be set up.

3.      Hotel Service Function

3.1  It can connect with music source, providing background music.

3.2  External and internal state will be displayed in the special-purpose phone to help operator to deal with voice procession.

3.3  Earphone can be inserted into the special-purpose phone.

3.4  One button keep, invert, watch, and transferring receive of special-purpose phone can enhance work efficiency of operator.

3.5  Room numbers can be displayed on special-purpose phone if it vibrates back as No Answer Signal.

3.6  Phone operation can be evenly distributed (Queue Function).

3.7  Special software for phone expenses of hotel is provided.

3.8  Automatic Economic Route Function enables the system to choose the most economic IP to dial up without changing dialing habit and provides services of phone fee calculation of normal distant calls and IP distant calls in order to make extra telephone fee incoming for the hotel.

3.9  Anonymous calls of hotel can be automatically banned at midnight by setting conversation authority of extensions in a specific period to prevent from vicious conversation in guest rooms.

3.10              Incoming calls and outgoing calls of external line, as well as internals, can be recorded for convenience of hotel telephone management.

3.11              The system has 150 unique Wake-up services, which can be recorded in detail by computer.

3.12              Message Light, automatically on/off or by man, are supported.

3.13              Extension Grade Function: this function enables extensions of hotel not to disturb others at midnight (automatically in a specific period at night). If it is necessary for establishing conversation between extensions, it must be transferred by the reception desk.

3.14              Main Call Move: staffs can use any extension of no external authority to call the telephone exchange to dial and to establish conversation.

3.15              Room numbers can be opened or locked and phone expenses can be transferred to hotel management software.

3.16              Voice mail is started in every room and does not influence incoming call number displaying on extension.

3.17              Incoming call number displays on extension. (Exterior line is: FSK/DTMF double patterns)

3.18              Redial Function: when it is busy for staff to dial external call or long distance, he/she can use ¡°redial¡± button instead of redialing 10 digits. (Most domestic switching system doesn¡¯t have this function.)

4.      Advancement and development of the system

4.1  Tongli TL-9000K/Xi has proprietary intellectual property rights, and has applied for the patent number. The system provides customer with lifelong free Upgrade Service Function. And there is a Network Access License (05-0822-010213) issued by the Ministry of Information Industry, PRC.

4.2  Interface of digital relay is abundant, with E1 (2M), E/M wholly supporting No.1 signal, No. 7 signal and PRI signal (30B+D). With unlimited numbers in the frame, digital relay of telecom operators can be called and received, making it possible for customer to have telephone leased line.

4.3  Open CTI Platform supports calling center and provide possibilities to operate all kinds of voice service of telephone and new telecom operation for the future.

4.4  The system adopts digital-only non-block communication, with the unit capacity extending up to 1536 ports. It also adopts general insert for convenience for customer by unlimited inside or outside frame.

4.5  ¡°Switching mode power¡± is adopted as switching power system of TL-9000K/Xi with high reliability.

4.6  The design of ¡°Multiple CPU Bus Architecture¡± without Electronic Components structure on the backplane is adopted to make the system with high reliability.

6.      Main functions for TL-9000 series

6.1  Incoming call, follow me, transferring call of external and internal line can display on extension phone.

6.2  Phone of manager¡¯s secretary: it can be fully realized by both Key-control function and Leased Line of manager¡¯s secretary.

6.3  Fee mode: Opposite fee pole and Delay fee time

6.4  Line Printer port for fee calculation (SMDR)

6.5  Telephone fee printing mode: switching has 6 kinds of telephone fee printing mode.

6.6  Voice Mail System (non-monitoring mode) is supported.

6.7  Easy Dial: the system, as well as each extension has 10 groups of easy dial with each group 1-26 digits.

6.8  IP Trk way function: relay can be defined as Trk way, with IP automatically distributed.

6.9  Total Trk way function: different external line (For example, local or other incoming call numbers display follow me, transferred calls of external or internal can be displayed on each extension) can be connected.

6.10              Automatic Economic Route Function (Function of telephone fee appreciation).

6.11              On-light of message function.

6.12              Phone edition of Key-control function (Digital specialized phone edition): 24 keys of TL-9000 series switching have Key-control function.

6.13              Phone edition of Key-control function (Digital specialized phone edition) has the Group Speaker Function which is able to key-watch and key-speak within the system.

6.14              Phone edition of Key-control function has the quick display of incoming call number: as the call rings, it displays numbers.

6.15              Redial: press ¡°Redial¡± key or ¡°#¡± key to redial the latest external call.

6.16              Telephone fee calculation: there¡¯s many fee recording ways to inquire, calculate fees and inquire the phone recording.

6.17              Check incoming calls: telephone fee calculating software supports incoming call records, inquiry and calculation.

6.18              Telephone fee management: it can flexibly control special calls, like information, and control fee.

6.19              15 persons phone meeting (need add phone meeting module).

6.20              Watch (one-way), invert, schedule, and other functions.

6.21              Extension grade and on-duty extension grade can be switched according to the automatically or by man settled On/off-duty time period and to weekends.

6.22              Extension grade: the system has ten extension grades with 1000 groups of 1-16 digit in each grade and with open and lock grade.

6.23              TL-9000 series has 5000 groups of 1-16 digits system lock and grade lock numbers.

6.24              Temporary Memory Function: it can put calls into temporary registers  (50 temporary registers) and then received back (free keep and receive); advanced office telephone usage system will be obtained if speaker function is added in.

6.25              Clock function: amounting to 150 telephones can be simultaneously set as wake-up clock.

6.26              Extension phone has password lock.

6.27              Telephone receiving group: grouped telephone has an easy operation (¡°#¡± namely telephone receivable).

6.28              Two kinds of extension signal protocol: each extension can work in watch module or non-watch module; it¡¯s safe and reliable to connect outside equipment.

6.29              Music: outside music sources can be connected to change customer¡¯s switching extension randomly, and make it the same way of extension use through settled Total Trk way.

6.30              All data exchange: the way of switching is divided when change in all data and it is safe and reliable

6.31              Group ring incoming display: every extension in group ring unanimously display incoming calls from external and internal at the same time.

6.32              Group ring and group receiving: 30 groups of group ring can be set to simultaneously ring.

6.33              Several telephones can group ring as the external line calling in (telephone numbers are unlimited).

6.34              Bypass function: bypass number can be set; this number being called can bypass in settled output relay

6.35              Extension group: 30 extension groups and inner random amount extensions can be set and be grouped to realize the functions of calls receiving, group ring, on-duty group and speak group and etc.

6.36              Output relay group: it supports grouping the output relay board; there can be several random-amount output relay in each group; several output relay can fully-functioned by both usage of relay of extension and defined route.

6.37              Remote maintenance: remote control can be realized by telephone net, Internet, LAN, computer net and so on.

6.38              Free dial: it can be set.

6.39              Trk wait and Ext wait.

6.40              Extension can display its own number.

6.41              It supports key-control function phone edition (digital specialized phone edition), common phone edition, computer and remote control maintenance program.

6.42              Busy Move, Second Move, Hot Phone, Disturb Banned and etc.

6.43              Interface for spare battery (except for TL-90000EK series).

6.44              All Clearance Function: it supports all functions of extension as well as clearance.

6.45              By pressing ¡°0¡±, extension automatically chooses external line.

6.49              Connecting and Netting Function.

6.50              All flexible codes are from 0 to 9 (note: 1-4 digit can coexist); it supports directly coding flexibly to extension without knowing the inner code.

6.51              Extension grade could forbid extensions from dialing each other, effectively controlling internal anonymous calls.

6.52              Dialing on one¡¯s behalf: the operator or secretary can dial numbers for others and being called extension can directly dial external line number.

6.53              Caller move: it supports telephone move for external calls.

6.54              Telephone fee calculating software supports hotel software, providing the telephone bill with the way of COM, telephone bill in documents and their respective count-control data.

6.55              It supports multi-computer management control.

6.56              Telephone fee calculating software can manage grades for operators and their scope of operation.

6.57              It supports hotel automatically with the function of telephone fee reckoning and clearance while Check Out.

6.58              Leased line function: it supports relay-leased line by specific extension.

6.59              Alternate conversation: one extension is allowed to make alternate conversation for both parties.

6.60              Account number function: It has 5000 groups of Account numbers (account digit is from 1 to 4 while self-found password digit is from 1 to 6); it has account cruise function and account keep function.
